2007 ARRIVISTE
Napa Valley Proprietary Rosé Wine
"Vibrant pink in color, this rosé style wine features a harmonious blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc varietals. The 2007 vintage reveals an aromatic nose of spice, grapefruit, strawberry and cherry. On the crisp palate, citrus and red fruit flavors meld together with a focused minerality to produce a wine of great clarity and depth. Bright acidity frames the wine's fresh, lingering fruit finish."

Everyone loves an upstart...
Inspired by "les gitanes," the gypsies of St. Emilion, Blackbird Vineyard's Arriviste captures the high-spirited nature of winemaking. This vibrant, puckish rosé conjures images of summer twilights and harvest moons. While it hints at the flavors of Merlot and Cabernet Franc that frame it, Arriviste is not a wine to demystify. It is simply a wine to enjoy.
